That's it we are off heads down till Feb.
last Sunday was the start I rode the Senior event in the first round of the season long Yorkshire Points series and managed a miserable 16th place so plenty of room for improvement, compared to last year when I won the event. I put the performance down to a Very Very good Summer.

With the 2011/12 Cyclo Cross season fast approching its time to start losing the extra weight I seam to have aquired over the summer.
I have started to ride a few races.

Had a cracking time at the Erlesstoke 12hr MTB race
The race had a different format this year starting at Midday and finishing at Midnight, which make its a whole lot more enjoyable. The course was a mint tight singletrack and not an awful lot of climbing.
We ended up winning the mixed team prize which was nice.

We also got a ton of new team Kit DHB supplied the with team kit and we also got the new Giro Mountain bike shoes an hour before the start I was a bit worried as I am very particular about my footwear but the shoes are one of the comfiest make of shoes I have used and raced the full race in them.
Just back from a great Weekend working on the Charge demo stand at the Dalby World Cup.
And I even managed to get out on a little ride.
One day I am in the Highlands of Scotland riding my Charge Duster on the top of the world at 650m above sea level.
the next day I am on the front in Bournemouth on my Charge Skewer at 1m above sea level.

Well thats the end of a classic Cyclo Cross season and its had its ups and its down but as a good friend reminded me the other day "Such is Life". 31 races in total 4 wins, and 11 poduims and the bikes look as good as they did on day one.
I would like to thank Charge bikes for all there help this season. and to all that have helped me along the way from help in the pits to collecting my top at the starts.
