I finally stopped being a slacker and decided to make my first post on here. Tony, Wonka and myself headed up to NYC for the weekend to ride and film for Empire. After swapping the parts off my busted 1x1 and onto Tony's Redline monocog we hustled into town to catch the china town bus to NYC. We got into town around midnight and met with John. After sitting around for a minute we headed over to some hipster party that looked like the opening of an urban outfitters. We decided to call it a night after that, and get some rest for riding on Saturday.
We attempted to get out riding early, but as usual my bike troubles prevented that from happening. Once everything was straightened out the pack of us got on the way to Queens. After about 9 miles we finally arrived. This spot has been in tons of BMX videos and I've always wanted to ride it. Andy Temkin got some really nice shots as well as CK. I can't download CK's, so click the link to view them.

After riding this spot for almost 2 hours, I still feel like there are so many lines to be discovered. We decided to push on in the freezing cold to the next spot.
By this point everyone was beginning to freeze, especially Nate accustomed to San Fransisco's mild weather. Pussy. We rode here for a little bit longer, and then I ate shit and put a nice flat spot in my rim...It was a nice bumpy ride back to Brooklyn. Once we got back Luke whipped up a nice home cooked meal for Tony and I as we bummed around for a few hours and got warm. We decided we were still hungry so we stuffed ourselves with pastries. Reluctantly we got off the couch and back on the bikes to head over to trackstars party.

I had a lot of fun riding with new people this weekend, and riding some awesome spots. Tony and I got to check out some touristy stuff that we had managed to bypass every other trip to NYC. I think this is the most time I've ever dedicated to writing a blog. haha.
Super...Tony?
It looks like Tony and Ted have a lot in common, I think they'll get along great!
Thanks John and Luke for the hospitality as usual!
